Cheers, this is Michael from McKee's Beatles Museum. The "Best" Beatles Convention of the Millennium was held in Norfolk, Virginia on the weekend of October 15th, 16th and 17th, 1999.
The following was the convention
line-up:
PETE BEST - Original drummer of the Beatles.
ROY YOUNG - Former Beat Brother with Ringo Starr and Tony Sheridan.
JOEY MOLLAND OF BADFINGER - He played their legendary hits like Come and Get It, No Matter What,
Baby Blue and more.
LOUISE HARRISON - Sister of Beatle George Harrison.
JAMIE KING COLTON - Saxophone player for the Beach Boys and others. Currently
working on Roy Young's new CD.
WALTER SHENSON - Producer of the films HELP! and A Hard Days Night.
REGINA BURCH - Author of "All You Need Is Love".
BRUCE SPIZER - Author of "The Vee Jay Recordings".
Besides the above, VH-1, ABC World News Tonight, and SID BERNSTEIN (the guy who booked them into Shea Stadium), and more were there.
