MISS CRABTREE, I THINK YOU MAY HAVE A LITTLE PROBLEM

A 61-year-old employee of the library at Portland State University was indicted for stealing more than $10,000 from the library's coin-operated photocopy machines over a two-year period. The woman's lawyer claimed his client had only been using the money temporarily, because she spent almost the entire amount on Oregon's government-sponsored poker machines. The lawyer says that because the woman never won anything, the state got all its money back.
