It seems like every time Marilyn Manson makes a new album, they get a new guitarist to do it. Let's go from the first to the most recent.
Daisy Berkowitz was Marilyn Manson's first guitarist. He has an incredible style, but left the band for almost amibiguous reasons. It was pretty much personal, I think. Here's what I know about him.
- Real Name: Scott Mitchell Putesky, or SMP for short.
- From: Florida
- Born: I had this written down, but it think it was in 1968.
- Past Bands: India Loves You and other Florida bands
- Left Manson: 1996
- What's he been up to since his departure from Manson: Working on his new project, Three Ton Gate. SMP just recently Jack Off Jill after a short stint as their guitarist. Also would like to write a screenplay about the music scene in Florida.
Next in line is Zim Zum. After he joined the band, Zimmy quickly became a favorite member of the band among fans. He is also another excellent guitar player. He reportedly left the band to pursue his personal interest.
- Real Name: Timothy Michael Linton Likes to be called Mike.
- From: Chicago, Illinois
- Born: 1969
- Past bands: Worked with various musicians in Chicago
- Left Manson: 1998
- What he's been up to since: Right now, is pretty much a solo artist under his real name. Currently played guitar on a remake of "Crimson and Clover" by Cher and her son Elijah Blue of the band Deadsy.
Currently, we now have John5!! Thanx to Rain Goddess for the picture URLs! Here's what I do know.
- Real Name: John Lowery
- Nickname the fans have given him: Chicken Boy. Just watch him live!
- Past Bands: Two (Rob Halford's industrial group) and the DLR Band are just some I know. Also played guitar on ex-girlfriend Leah Andreone'sAlchemy album.
