One of the
leading authorities on Elvis Presley and the largest collector of Elvis
memorabilia in the world.
Jim Curtin’s
knowledge, expertise and devotion to the King makes him a living museum
of the
life and legend surrounding Rock-n-Roll’s single and most significant figure.
Jim Curtin
was also personal friends with the late and great entertainer from
1970 up
until his untimely end in August 1977.
He is the
only person in the world to have received one of Elvis' trademark stage
jumpsuits
from Elvis
himself as a token Elvis' feelings and friendship for Jim back in 1975.

The
STAR
MAGAZINE purchased one of Elvis’ guitars from
Jim Curtin to use as the grand prize
for a 20th
Anniversary contest held in their July 15,1997 issue.
The famous Parisian magazine, PARIS MATCH,
made special trips to the
US where they met with Jim and used 50 of his rare photos in their
tribute to Elvis - August 1997 issue.
They wanted something ‘different and rare on Elvis’ and called upon
Jim and expertise.
Jim also produced a color POSTER of Elvis for Portal Publications, Ltd.,
in 1989.
This poster featured Elvis wearing a two-piece burgundy suit from the
1968 Comeback Special.
It
was made in two different sizes, a giant 24” x 6’ and a smaller 24”
x 28”
both were
sold in the Sam Goody store chain, nationwide.
