Sol Defense

Story
The story of Sol Defense is more like a sci- fi movie than your typical midevil type of RPG. The story has to do with a bunch of maniac robots that have attacked a fleet in space. These robots have been made by a evil doctor in another planet and Earth plans to attack. You play as Gerrard, Sigmund, and Gunther, a bunch of soldiers. The demo seemed too short for the story to progress. In my opinion the story seems very original and should be a nice game if touched up a bit. Story rating: B
Graphics
All I have to say is that the pictures are tight!!! The game features great pictures of space craft and planets. The tiles were very original and pretty cool. The enemies look cool also. Damn this game has the best graphics I've ever seen so far but the first "dungeon" should be bigger. I have nothing more to say because I am amazed. Rating: A
Music & Sound FX
The music seemed appropriate for the story (Like grudge and stuff) The game featured music from Nirvana, Korn, etc. But unfortunately that's all the music there is. The game needs some different songs besides 3-4 songs (which it only has) The sound FX are nice but there are not many. There should be plenty more sound fx and music but the demo was short so the rating is a D
Gameplay
The battles were not many and the boss battles were kind've hard in the begining. There was only one real part where you can walk around in a building and fight enemies which was the begining. The dialogue was decent and each character had their own personality which is good. The part where you fly the spaceship around in space is pretty cool in my opinion. I found it amusing flying around space. ^_^ Rating is a C but I think it will get better when the new demo comes out.
Overall
The story was original but seems a little complicated since it has to do with military and politics. The graphics are awesome and are the best I seen yet. Music and SFX were a bit disappointing but the grade would get higher if touched up in the next demo. There should be more places to walk around and do missions and fight and stuff. But since this is a short game it did not get a great score but not a bad score either. I give this a B-. I am looking forward for the next demo.

C= An average product with a few flaws and a few good points.
D= Your basic gip off game. FF music and storyline.
F= I would download this game ONLY if you pay me a lot of money.
