Fans must feel like they’re reading about Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. There are some stories written about Justin Timberlake which portray him as an all around nice guy who plays basketball, take romantic trips to Palm Springs with Britney, and participates in various charities. But then other stories whisper about Justin going to an L.A. tattoo parlor after midnight, intending to get his butt tattooed. And one teenaged fan claimed Justin harassed her! The 15-year-old girl said Justin yelled at her for saying JC was cuter than him. She then filed a lawsuit against Justin! So will the real Justin Timberlake please stand up?
The bottom line is, Justin just likes to have fun—and he doesn’t care what people say about him. He wants to be who he is. “I just do what I do.” He says. “I know a lot of kids look up to us and for the most part we don’t do anything. In all actuality, I can’t fell bad for the things I do. I have to be me.”
One example of Justin’s recent so-called “rebellious” streak came when he wore a T-shirt saying “Boy Bands Suck” while performing the song “Pop” in concert. SO does that mean he hated being a member of a boy band? Of course not—he’s just poking fun at himself.
So what’s up with Justin being a naughty boy? Like the one where he and two of his bandmates supposedly fought for the attention of a young lady at a Chicago club? And this is while Britney was in town! That’s nothing more than talk. “I don’t follow the crowd and I really don’t feel that I need to prove my manhood by jumping into the sack with every girl that comes along.” Says Justin.
It’s quite clear that for now there is only one woman for this Tennessee sweetheart—the one and only Britney Spears. When asked on TRL recently what he looks for in a girl, Justin didn’t hesitate to answer, “The first thing I look for in a girl is Britney!”
Then there’s the story of Justing going into a tattoo parlor on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles with Britney after midnight, where they requested matching heart-shaped tattoos on their butt cheeks! Reportedly, both were drunk and were about to go under the needle when they decided it was a stupid idea and left. Whether it’s true or just fodder for the tabloids, we’ve got to admit, it is kind of hard to picture sweet-faced Juistin with a tattooed behind!
When it comes to havng fun, Justin has been spotted a t some of the hottest clubs from New York to L.A. New York, however, is the setting of yet another negative rumor—Justin and Britney reportedly skipped out on a $600 bar tab at a Manhattan lounge, leaving fellow ‘N Syncer Joey Fatone with the bill!
Despite all the rumors that Justin has been acting rebellious, he still spends plenty of his free time helping others. He recently signed on to be a spokesperson for the MathNMusic Club, an organization that uses music to help children learn about math.
All in all, Justin is just enjoying the wonderful experiences that his fame has give him. He’s got a phenomenal career, millions of fans, and a talented and beautiful girlfriend. “I love her with all of my heart,” he says of Britney. No matter how many rumors surface about what he does when he’s not performing, deep down Justin is just a sweet, gentle guy. “I am a pretty quiet person,” he says. “I keep to myself a lot. When I’m not on stage, I’m kind of shy.”
