Pagan.
Derived from the Latin Paganus,
meaning "country-dweller"
Pagan religions are based upon nature and all its aspects.
It is generally polytheistic.
Paganism is generally a complex form of Animism. The main difference is that fact that pagans call their dieties by names.
I personally, am extremely eclectic, meaning that I have taken my beliefs from many different trads (traditions).
A great deal of what I believe is found in the roots of the Old Religion, currently called Wicca.
The beliefs of Wicca can date back to the Bronze Age Tumulus Culture
that peaked around 1200 BCE.
All the way back to that time, because of the Hunter-Gatherer socities that the peoples inhabited, they worshiped a Fertility Goddess and a Hunter God. These people depended upon the "goodwill" of the dieties to assure
a plentiful harvest and a successful hunt. And so, the start of offerings to the dieties.
