PRE 2007 PICS

These are older pics from when I had my stock shortblock in the car. I've changed a lot since then and I have newer pics elsewhere on this site.

Here's another picture of my new wheels. They are 17X9 front, 17X10.5 rear Bogart RR10 road race wheels. They are a true multipiece wheel, not just a wanna be look alike. I love them, but they were $$$!

Here is a new pic of my interior. I recently installed autometer carbon fiber water temp and oil pressure gauges in the autometer gauge surround pod, and the UPR aluminum gauge ring. I also added some MGW chrome accent pieces.

This is a pic of me launching at the SSOTN event held at Cecil County drag way. I ran a new best there... how about a 12.31 at 111.15mph!!!

This is a launch picture of my car from the Spring '04 SSOTN race held at Cecil County. I ran a new best street trim pass with a 12.5 at 109mph, and I ran a whopping 12.33 at 110 in race form. I was very surprised to run so close to my best time on my nittos. Heck, I had a 1.66 60' on my new 315-35-17 DR's!!!

This is the picture of my stang that was used in MM&FF's april 2000 issue, page 64.
This was a lot of fun!!!

Here's my car at the '04 NMRA Motorsport Nationals held at Maple Grove. I ended up taking 1st place in the modified 94-95 class!!!

Here's a new sideshot of my car.

This is a pic of me on my way to a 14.5 at 97.23mph at E-Town NJ. This was the first time I had the car to the track after installing the intake, headers, driveshaft, and throttle body. It took a little while to relearn how drive the car with its new found power, but I got it down to 14.3's at 96.5mph on street tires at my home track of Keystone Raceway.

Here's my timeslip when my dad and I raced each other when we were both pretty stock, he's on the left and I'm on the right. This was before the heads and cam install on my car. My dad eventually got his time down to a 13.6 at 98.7mph before adding the holley systemax kit. The "stock" holley kit proceded to drop him to a best time of 12.6 at 107mph, he's MUCH faster now.

Here's some of my times with the new setup.
On August 25TH 2001 I broke into 12'S FINALLY! I ran a 12.92 at 106.85MPH with a 1.85 60'. This was done at Mason Dixon Dragway. Here's the time slip.

Notice that I broke out on this run... to be honest I didn't care as you can see I dialed in at 13.05 and as I flew by the other car I knew I was going to break out, but at the same time that meant that I might be on my way to a 12 second slip so I kept the hammer down! It was a good choice!

I thought this was going to be my last pass for the season due to my severly damaged T5. This time out I managed a better time despite a worse 60' time, and the fact that I was at my home track of Keystone which is 1250 feet above sea level, which is higher than Mason Dixon. Here's the slip:
Well, I couldn't stomach the idea of going all winter not knowing if I could have broken 107mph this year, so despite my fears of breaking my tranny for good, I went back for two more passes! I'm glad I did too. I normally launch at 2500rpms on my nitto's, but I thought I'd try a 3000rpm launch to see what would happen. To my surprise, the car hooked and netted me a 12.86 at 106.66mph. Well, knowing I had one pass left before I retired the car for winter, I decided to give it my all. I launched hard at 3500rpms and to my utter amazement, the car HOOKED! I covered the first 60 feet in a mind blowing 1.76 seconds... this was on my way to a whopping 12.73 at 106.62mph!

I was totally amazed my 3700lb convertible was trapping near 107mph, then it went into the 12's which really blew my mind, but when I managed to propel all 3700lbs 60' in 1.76 seconds on my street driven Nitto's in route to that 12.73 ET, I was speechless!!!

HERE'S THE SLIP.

UPDATE June 5, 2003- I recently ran a new best on ET streets with a shortbelt: 12.59 at 108.8mph with a 1.75 60'!!! I think this officially makes me the fastest NA 94-95 GT convertible to date. Here's the slip...

THAT'S MOVING FOR A NATURALLY ASPIRATED 'VERT ISN'T IT?!?!

UPDATE 10-02-03: Well, somehow, someway, it keeps going faster. I ran it for the first time with the eaton posi and 31 strange axles. The results suprised even me, but I made two runs and they were within 1% of each other. Here's the slip, I'm on the left...

UPDATE 1-13-05: It keeps getting quicker. I ran a 12.1 at 112.5 in Novemeber at the SSOTN Fall Nat's. Here's the slip:

Here is a picture of my dyno graph. This run was made the same day I ran my 12.1 at 112.5mph. Obviously I still need to tune the car some as it was going fat up top. I just ran out of time on the dyno that day to make another pull.

This is a pic of me staging at Raceway Park in NJ.
This track makes mine look like a paved nature trail!
