STUD CONTRACT
This is the mandatory stud agreement that applies to any person who breeds their bitch to a dog owned by Liz-Clare's at the time of breeding. It is open to negotiation but it cannot be altered after the breeding takes place. It is at our descretion whether a breeding will take place or not.
By Breeding your bitch to a dog owned by Liz-Clare's at the time of the mating you agree that...
1. The bitch is not below 190 total in stats, with conformation not lower than 90, coat not lower than 10, color not lower than 10 and movement not lower than 60.
2. The bitch must at least be major pointed, preferably finished, or have previously whelped champions of quality over 200.
3. The bitch (unless a starter) has been tested clear for problems involving elbows, eyes, patellas and thyroid.
4. The bitch owner will either be paying a fee (dependant on the stud) or will give Liz-Clare's a puppy from the litter, the stud owner's (ie Liz-Clare's) choice, free of charge. Whether a fee or puppy will be asked for is up to the stud owner.
5. Liz-Clare's guarantees at least 2 live puppies will be whelped. If this isn't the case, the bitch owner can choose either a full refund of the stud fee or a repeat breeding 12 weeks (real time) later, free fo charge. The repeat need not be with the same stud.
6. Liz-Clare's reserves the right to name ONE of the puppies if they so choose. This won't necessarily end up being the pick puppy and will still carry the bitch owner's prefix.
7. You also agree that guarantee that any and all puppies found to be below 180q will not be bred from, or will be petted out. A sales contract such as those below are strongly recommended.
8. You also agree that this bitch has not been bred and whelped a live litter within the past 12 wks (real time) prior to this breeding in order to avoid stressing the bitch.
If this contract is broken, Liz-Clare's reserves the right to confiscate all offspring produced as well as $50 per offspring for the cost of housing the puppies until they can be sold. They will also deny further stud service indefinitely.
SHOW PROSPECT CONTRACT
A "show prospect" is defined as being a puppy we have sufficient faith in, based on the qualities of its parents or past show performance, and expect it to complete its championship.
By purchasing a "show prospect" puppy from Liz-Clare's, you agree that...
1. Said puppy/dog will be shown in at least 2 shows per month (real time), preferably the AG run shows or the Naamanside kennel club shows, until it finishes its championship.
2. Should the "show prospect" not complete its championship by 4 years of age (game time, 12mos RT) despite regular showing, or prove to be lower than 180q, then the dog will be neutered & Liz-Clare's will refund no more than 50% of the purchase price, or may provide another show prospect if possible (buyer's choice). The dog may be kept or returned to Liz-Clare's.
3. The show prospect may not be sold to another party without the knowledge and consent of Liz-Clare's. This includes the "Pet Owners".
4. Should the puppy/dog be rescued from the Humane Society by Liz-Clare's or the Cyber Pomeranian Club, they are under no obligation to return the dog. The circumstances will be considered and the dog MAY be returned for a fee of $250.
5. This dog is guaranteed free of hereditary problems involving the patellas, elbows, thyroid and eyes. Should they develop any of the aforementioned problems the buyer is entitled to a full refund or replacement puppy.
6. This dog is not to be bred until 6wks (real time, if a dog) or 12wks (real time, if a bitch), and only after it has been cleared for eyes/elbows/patellas/thyroid problems and is proven to be over 180q by winning at least a major in showing. It may not be bred to any bitch/dog who doesn't also meet those criteria. A bitch may not be bred & whelp a live litter more than once every 12 wks real time.
7. If a male, the buyer is required to provide stud service from this dog to any bitch owned by Liz-Clare's for a fee of no more than $300, should it be requested, provided it meets the above specifications for breeding.
8. The following clause applies only to the following dogs: LIZ-CLARE'S RUNHILL ROCKETEER. The owner of this dog is required to provide stud service at no charge to any bitch of the same breed owned by Liz-Clare Kennels in exchange for a lower purchase price.
If this contract is broken, Liz-Clare's reserves the right to confiscate the dog as well as $250 for the cost of housing the dog until they can be resold.
SHOW QUALITY CONTRACT
"Show quality" refers to a dog whose stats are known to be high enough that they are expected beyond a doubt to finish their championship, or are already major pointed towards their championship. The contract is exactly the same as that for a "show prospect" except a FULL refund is in order if the dog does not finish within 4 yrs game time.
STUD/BROOD QUALITY CONTRACT
"Stud/Brood Quality" refers to a dog whose stats are nice enough that they are expected to produce nicely if they are bred to a complimentary mate. These dogs are usually already finished champions (and thus aren't sold as "show quality") or else have already produced champion or major pointed offspring.
1. A dog sold as Stud/Brood quality need not be shown or specialed. This is up to the owner.
2. This dog is guaranteed to be above 180q unless it is sold to the purchaser with full knowledge that the dog's stats are lower.
3. The stud/brood quality dog may not be sold to another party without the knowledge and consent of Liz-Clare's. This includes the "Pet Owners".
