I love ducks. They're really cute. I have a lot of ducky things. But then again, I've never had a real duck. I mean, maybe they make lousy pets. The incessant quacking could really get to you, not to mention the expense of constructing a pond in the front yard. I wonder if that would violate any zoning ordinances. Is it legal to own a duck in a residential area, or are they considered farm animals? Anyway, I like to watch them walk because they waddle funny. My friend Kristy has these bright yellow boots that remind me of a duck. And I have a beanie duck named Roadkill. In the university bookstore, they sell postcards shaped like rubber duckies. I was a deprived child because I never had a rubber ducky. At my friend Shane's farm, they have ducks, but they're not yellow. I have a plastic picture frame with little ducks all around it.
