Jack Gibbons

This Robert Redford look-alike has acted and directed at most theatrical venues in the Scranton -Wilkes-Barre area. At Wilkes-Barre Little Theatre he has been seen in "Deathtrap" and has directed Neil Simon's "Jake's Women." Notable roles at the Wilkes-Barre Theatre Ensemble include "Substance of Fire," "Some Americans Abroad" and "The Shadowbox."

In Scranton, his many roles at the Actors' Circle include "The Adding Machine", "Philadelphia, Here I Come" and "A Tale of Two Cities." At Exeter's Showcase Theatre he directed the NEPTA award-winning production of "House of Blue Leaves" and Neil Simons "Last of the Red Hot Lovers," a play written with Jack in mind (obviously).

He has won several awards from Northeastern Pennsylvania Theatrical Alliance (NEPTA) for directing "Jake's Women" at Little Theatre, and "House of Blue Leaves." This year he was nominated for his acting work in "Deathtrap" and was nominated and won for The Irish comedy he directed at Showcase called "The Course."

Jack lives in Exeter with his bride, Evelyn.
