* Amir Derakh, the "super-goth guy", knows how it feels to have success in the music industry. Before Orgy, his biggest acclaim to fame was with the 80's hair-metal band Rough Cutt, which gained some minor fame. More recently however, Amir spends more time tuning his synth-guitar than headbanging.
Amir has been said to be the "shy" one. Perhaps his shyness, however, comes from a deep understanding of music and his instrument, how it should sound and how he should play. This Persian knows what hes doing. "We came into Orgy knowing what we didn't want to sound or look like," he told Guitar World Magazine. "We just took it from there. That's how we figured out what we wanted to do in this group, by narrowing our focus" He describes the guys as "fashion whores", and is seemingly enjoying every minute of this ride called Orgy
