Healing Dice-
Supernaturals & Immortals, and Healing:
Supernatural Healer: I will heal you, where are your injuries?
Were the supernatural or immortal healing another supernatural or immortal, he/she would use 4d as normal, for a halfling, 3d, and for a child, slave, etc, 1d. In short, the number of dice used to heal go according to the number of dice held by the person to be healed. A supernatural needs to roll healing dice only once.
Mortal Healer: I am a healer, I can heal you
Halfling Healer: Lay back, I shall heal you
Injured Child: ::cries, blood pouring from his many cuts::
1-5=2 6-10=4 11-15=6 16-20=8
Online Host: Halfling Healer rolled 3 60-sided dice 30 56 23
All healers must have their Mexp's listed on their profiles as with normal exp's, it would appear somewhat like the following example:
Level# sides gained GP's to be given
*Level 6 will receive double the amount, for now, we will consider this our highest healing level. Depending on recruitment and participation, this may be modified in the future.
**For questions or concerns regarding healing, contact Peaceful75**
Any healer's healing dice will hold the same number of sides as they normally use for battle. We've previously dealt with holding a separate set of dice, which becomes complicated and confusing. When a healer heals with our forum, we will apply what I call the 2d/3d/4d/5d rule. In this way, it allows a person of any race and dice to be a healer. During a heal, the healer will state some variation of the folowing:
*without this statement during a heal, the log will be invalid, and Mexp's(see below) shall not be awarded. Please make sure to include this in all heals, and send in logs promptly for review by the MoH*
For example, a supernatural or immortal who has 4d80 has been asked to heal a mortal, who holds 2d50. It would appear something like this:
Injured Mortal: ::whispers painfully:: my ribs...they hurt...
Supernatural Healer: [This is a CR forum healing, subject mortal, only 2d needed, healing dice 2d80, one roll required]
Superntural Healer: ::hands glow red, healing the wounds::
Online Host: Supernatural Healer rolled 2 80-sided dice: 55 79
Injured Mortal: ::sighs as the pain subsides::
Mortals and Healing:
Healing for a mortal Healer would be slightly different as they hold only 2d themselves. In the case of a mortal healing a supernatural or halfling being, they would roll their 2d's twice to be effective. A mortal healing another mortal, or child, slave, etc, would roll only once. For example:
Wounded Vamp: ::grimaces in pain:: it would be appreciated...
Mortal Healer: [this is a CR forum healing, subject supernatural, 4d needed, healing dice 2d50, two rolls required]
Mortal Healer: ::concentrates, healing the vamp's wounds::
Online Host: Mortal Healer rolled 2 50-sided dice 40 26
Online Host: Mortal Healer rolled 2 50-sided dice 33 46
Wounded Vamp: ::relaxes, the pain vanishing::
Halflings and Healing:
For a healer who is a halfling (or halfbreed), their dice fall in between of those of full supernaturals and standard mortals. However, being that a halfling is more powerful than the average mortal, we shall still only use one roll for the healing. A halfling healing a mortal would use 2d, for supernaturals, they would use their full 3d. For example:
Wounded Vamp: ::nods and lays back::
Halfling Healer: [this is a CR forum healing, subject supernatural, 4d needed, healing dice 3d60, one roll required]
Halfling Healer: ::concentrates, healing the wounds:::
Online Host: Halfling Healer rolled 3 60-sided dice 30 56 23
Wounded Vamp: ::smiles as the wounds close::
Elders & Ancients, and Healing:
Being that our forum is a 5d forum, there could also be 5d healers. The rules for healing would apply the same for the Elder or Ancient, and would heal another Elder or Ancient with 5d's, Supernaturals or Immortals with 4d's, Halflings with 3d's, Mortals with 2d's, and children or slaves, etc. with only 1d. For example:
Elder Healer: Child, why are you crying?
Injured Child: I am hurt
Elder Healer: I will take your pain
Elder Healer: [this is a CR forum healing, subject child, 1d needed, healing dice 1d50, one roll required]
Elder Healer: ::bends down, lightly touching his arm, healing him instantly::
Online Host: Elder Healer rolled 1 50-sided dice 48
Injured Child: ::laughs happily, free of pain::
Healing point range:
I have drawn up a special point range for healings. This point range allows a healer to gain a certain number of points for each number rolled, unlike the battle point range where you gain no points until you roll 15 or higher. The point range is as follows:
_______________________________________
21-25=10 26-30=12 31-35=14 36-40=16
_______________________________________
41-45=18 46-50=20 51-55=22 56-60=24
_______________________________________
61-65=26 66-70=28 71-75=30 76-80=32
_______________________________________
81-85=34 86-90=36 91-95=38 96-100=40
Medicinal Experience Points (or Mexp's)©:
All healers will be required to keep a second set of exp's on their profile, and since healers are in essence the "doctors" of the Forum, these exp's are known as Mexp's or Medicinal Experience Points. According to the point range chart above, the total number you get on one healing will be multiplied by 10, and in this way calculate the number of Mexp's you will receive. For example:
30=12pts 56=24pts 23=10pts 12+24+10=48
48x10=480Mexp
CR-4d41-880exp/1-4d41healing-2645Mexp/Level1 (see next section regarding Levels) *The reason to restate dice under healing will let others know that you can use 1,2,3,or 4 dice for healing, if this applies to you. A mortal would state 1-2d41, a halfling would state 1-3d41, an Elder or Ancient would state 1-5d41. This will also aid in the question of valid logs if reviewed by other forums or guilds for the person that was healed.
Healing and Healing Levels©:
This is a new system that I've devised. Being that we are using the same dice to heal as to do battle, Mexp's will not raise dice as normal exp's would. All healers will begin on Level 1. Once an individual has collected 5000 Mexp's, they will advance to a Level 2 Healer. Upon doing this, they will receive one additional side to their current dice, along with a reward of gold (or GP's). The following is the reward chart for Healing Levels©:
_______________________________________
Lvl 1(0-4,999mxp) -0- (starting lvl,none)

Lvl 2(5,000mxp) -1- 200gp

Healing Outside the Forum:
This will be accepted and encouraged, use the same format to heal as previously described, and whether inside or outside the forum, always retain a copy of the log to be sent in for review. Without such documentation, the healing can be considered invalid, and the points gained illegal.
