Tonight
Just the pure joy of laying quietly
in each other's arms
Tonight when I gaze into your beautiful eyes
I will see the 'I love you' there.
Tonight as you wrap your arms around me
I will feel the 'I love you'.
When I sit snuggled so warmly on your lap
I will feel the blanket of love covering us.
Tonight as I lay my head on your chest
Your heart will beat out the words 'I love you.'
Tonight as I look upon the lips that drive me wild
with desire
I will hear the sweet words 'I love you.'
Then tonight as I drift off to sleep
safe and warm in your embrace
All the 'I love you's' will comfort me in dreams.
