Later backstage, Test was about to talk about his little appearance on GTV, but Shane and the Posse attacked him and gave him a severe beating. June 22, 1999 Raw Results (6/21) - Test was scheduled to take on Shamrock in singles competition, but right before the beginning of the match, Patterson came down and announced that Shawn Michaels had made it a Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Title. Test and Shamrock teamed up early against Jarrett, but eventually it was every man for himself. Test and Jarrett went outside the ring, while Steve Blackman made an unscheduled appearance in the ring. He began to beat Shamrock with a Kendo Stick. Jarrett got back in the ring and made the pin on a helpless Shamrock.
June 20, 1999 Shotgun Results (6/19) - Test defeated Prince Albert with a Flying Elbow. The announcers discussed Test's relationship with Stephanie McMahon, as well as Val Venis removing the piercing from his nose that Prince Albert caused. Test dominated the match and took the win with an impressive elbow from the top rope.
Laura had a couple of things to say about Test in her column on WWF.com, The Other Side:
Is what Test was virtually doing in the squared circle when blindfolded and so unfairly had to face Boss Man and his infamous nightstick. He really does have an unusual attachment to that thing - kind of like Linus and his powder blue blanket...
Not My Father1s Daughter
This is what I really want to talk about - Stephanie and Test. Despite the fact that Test claimed a platonic relationship with the daughter of Federation owner Vince McMahon, I think he was bluffing. Theirs would be a forbidden relationship and, thus, would be best kept undisclosed. When Stephanie ran to Test1s side, putting herself between the Big Boss Man and the wounded Test, she certainly proved two things. One, that there is something deeper than just a friendly acquaintance; and two, that she is by no means her father1s daughter - she is far too brave and benevolent, putting the welfare of another above her own.
June 15, 1999 Raw Results (6/14) - In a special "Blindfold Match" (or, as the McMahons called it, a "Blind Date Match"), Test was forced to put on a blindfold as he took on the Big Bossman. The match was obviously no contest, and the Bossman grabbed his nightstick and clobbered Test with it, earning himself a disqualification. When it looked like the Bossman wasn't finished, even though Test lay unconscious, Stephanie McMahon ran to the ring and stood between Bossman and Test until the Bossman left.
It is rumored that Test and Stephanie McMahon will have a date on Raw in the upcoming weeks.
June 14, 1999 Sunday Night Heat Results (6/13) - Backstage, Jerry Lawler interviewed Test about his date with Stephanie McMahon the previous night in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Lawler asked Test how it went and if Stephanie passed the test. Test said it wasn't like that, saying they were just friends and just spoke. He said he would introduce Stephanie to his mom if he had the chance. Jeff Jarrett, along with Debra, then popped out and told Test to keep his eyes off Debra. Test said, "Is he talking to me?" Test later came out during an interview with Jarrett, and challenged him to a fight later that night.
Kevin Kelly speculated that Jeff Jarrett was perhaps ordered by Vince McMahon to take on Test, since Test was the one who dated McMahon's daughter, Stephanie. After the referee was accidently knocked out, Ken Shamrock ran and gave Jarrett, who had the pin, a belly-to-belly suplex. Test then pinned Jarrett, to capture the Intercontinental Title. Referee, Tim White made his way down to tell the ref about Shamrock's interference, but the ref said his decision would stand. Debra then came on to him, which caused him to reverse his decision and return to the title to Jarrett.
June 8, 1999 Raw Results (6/7) - Stone Cold told the Union they could wrestle whoever the pleased that night. Test was interviewed and he called out Stephanie McMahon. As she made her way out, Vince and Shane were watching in shock in the backstage area the entire time. Test got on his knees and asked Stephanie if she wanted to go on a date. Stephanie accepted. Test was extremely happy, while Vince and Shane were screaming backstage.
June 7, 1999 Test took on Kane for the right to face the Big Show in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. Test had Kane set up for the pumphandle slam, but in an amazing display of strength, the Big Red Machine was able to maneuver himself into position to deliver a Tombstone and pin the Union member.
June 5, 1999 It is rumored that Tori and Test are the new lovebirds backstage, and have rumored to have been going out now for a week now. One report says they left together in a limo from the Springfield, Mass. airport.
May 30, 1999 Sunday Night Heat Results (5/30) - Test and Tori vs. Meat and Jacqueline with PMS. After Test and Meat lock up, Tori and Jackie get tagged in. Tori hits a nice dropkick, snap suplex and a 2 count, Meat makes the save. Jackie jumps on Test. Tori and Jackie are now the legal women. Jackie kicks Tori in the face. Tori plants a hard DDT on Jackie for the win as Meat and Test go at it on the floor. In the ring, Terri Runnels and Ryan attack Tori. Test saves Tori, PMS and Meat leave. Thanks to Lords of Pain
May 26, 1999 Sunday Night Heat Spoiler (Airdate---May 30, 1999) - Test and Tori defeat Meat and Jacqueline after Tori DDTed Jackie.
May 24, 1999 RAW Results - On a special RAW is OWEN edition of RAW, Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra) defeated Test by making him submit to the Sharpshooter. Jerry Lawler said the previous night was one of the most difficult nights of his life. He was amazed that the WWF superstars were able to work with Owen Hart on their minds. Jeff Jarrett got on the microphone and said, "Owen Hart never was a nugget," which got a big pop. As the match went on between Jarrett and Test, Debra got on the apron and opened her jacket, attracting Test. The crowd chanted, "Puppies." Debra ended up slapping Test, which let Jarrett catch him with his usual Reversed Russian Legsweep, but decided to finish Test off with the Sharpshooter victory, in memory of Hart. (Test had volunteered to wrestle Jeff and submit via the sharpshooter as a tribute to Owen.)
In his thoughts about Owen, Test told a story about being in Chicago, Illinois for a house show, with bad weather in the area. He received a phone call, saying they needed Test to confirm whether or not the show would be cancelled. Test continued to say to the person over the phone he was not the person to talk to for that. That person who called Test ended up being Owen Hart. Test went on to say that he didn't find out until that morning (May 24) that it was Owen and it was pretty hard to find out. He then broke down as the camera faded away.
Test was interviewed about the tragic death of Owen Hart at last night's PPV. Here are the highlights. "In the Test interview he talked about what happened with the ordeal and some other things. The key points of the interview were that Owen only had one buckle on his harness. He ran off before the guy could attach the second buckle to the harness. The one buckle just couldn't support his weight. Everyone backstage is in shock. This isn't confirmed, just some backstage gossip. Also Test had said Bret Hart and the rest of the Hart family including Jim Neidhart and The Bulldog could be on hand at RAW during the 2 hour Owen Hart special."

May 23, 1999 Over the Edge PPV Results - The Union (Mankind, The Big Show, Ken Shamrock, Test) defeated The Corporate Ministry (The Acolytes, Viscera, The Big Bossman). Test was first eliminated after being pinned with Bradshaw's Lariat. Ken Shamrock almost had Faarooq finished off with an arm-bar submission, but Faarooq ran away. He later put Bradshaw in the Ankle Lock for Bradshaw to get eliminated. Shamrock later put Faarooq in the Ankle Lock, but The Big Bossman helped his teammate to the rope. The referee told Shamrock to break the hold, which caused Shamrock to belly-to-belly suplex Faarooq. Shamrock was disqualified. The Big Show then gave Faarooq the Showstopper, which costed Faarooq to be eliminated. Bossman, Viscera, Big Show, and Mankind were all left. Bossman tried to leave the ring, but Big Show brought him back in. Big Show was about to take down Bossman with the Showstopper, but Viscera made the save. Viscera then got slammed by Big Show. The two brawled back to the locker room, leaving the match between Bossman and Mankind. Mankind nailed Bossman with his double-arm DDT and then put Mr. Socko down the throat of Bossman for the win.
Test will be receiving a big push this summer, that will include an Intercontinental Title reign and a heel turn. Booker Terry Taylor referred to him as the WWF's "hottest young prospect."
