Marines fill bags with Christmas goodies
Christmas is less than two weeks away and the Toys for Tots boxes in the Annapolis area are starting to fill up. "We have already had about 5,000 toys
donated this year and the biggest part of the collection is usually just before Christmas," said Cpl. Robert Quezada, Toys for Tots coordinator for the Naval Academy Company, Marine Barracks Washington.

Academy bids goodbye to godsend
The Naval Academy said goodbye to the Auxiliary Personnel Lighter-61 berthing barge Tuesday. On Dec. 4, Naval Academy Superintendent Vice Adm. Rodney Rempt presented mementos from the academy to the crew and thanked them for their assistance.

Master Chief Thomas goes to Washington

104th ARMY-NAVY game
Kyle Eckel rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns, helping Navy post a 34-6 victory over Army and capture the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy in the 104th meeting of America's Classic in Philadelphia.

Have pigskin, will travel
Once again, 13th Company delivered the official football to the Army-Navy game in Philadelphia. "Lucky 13" has a long tradition of carrying the ball from King Hall to the 50-yard line of the game field.
