Salomon ST8's 99'
This is DJ. I own these skates and they're great. They include a very wide soul and negative frame, an awesome quick lacing system, built in grindplates, a strong boot, a shock absorber, and very nice liner (one of the best out there). There are bad and good things about these skates. The bad things are the built in grindplate chews down very quickly, the frame chews down quickly in the middle, the H block is very far inside the skate and takes so long to hit, and they slide kind of slow. The good things are they are VERY light, the shock absorber is HUGE and very comfy on your feet, 50/50 frames can be put on with an adapter plate (and will slide much faster), you barely sweat in the liner, the skates come in an awesome color, you can replace any part in these skates, the quick lacing system helps to custom fit the skates to your feet, and the boot is very strong. These skates come with Hyper wheels and SKB ABEC 3 bearings. On a scale of 1-10, I give them an 8.
