Blade Dancer
Blade Dancers are rogues and fighters are trained in the use of blades, particularly knives and daggers. They are taught grace, balance, stealth. Characters seeking to become a Blade Dancer, have a long journey to travel down. Blade Dancers rarely ever band together to form any sort of orginization or group due to their solitary nature.
Hit Die: D8.
Requirements:
To qualify to become a Blade Dancer, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.
Feats: Dodge, Mobility, Weapon Focus
(Knives).
Balance: 7 ranks.
Move Silently: 7 ranks.
Perform (Dancing) 9 ranks.
Tumble 6 ranks.
Class Skills:
The Blade Dancer's class skills are Balance, Climb, Disguise, Hide, Jump, Listen, Move Silently, Perform, Tumble.
Skill Points at Each Level: 4 + Int Modifier.
Class Features:
Weapon and Armor Proficiency
The Blade Dancer is proficient in Light Armor and Simple Weapons. Heavier armors impede the Blade Dancer's ability to move silently.
Dancing Knives
The Blade Dancer may apply his Dex modifier on his "To Hit" rolls and damage rolls with his knives. He may also throw the knives without penalty.
Quickness
The Blade Dancer gains a dodge bonus to his AC. At 3rd level, this bonus is +1. At 6th level, this bonus is +2. At 9th level, this bonus is +3. He only gains this bonus when wearing light armor or none.
Silent Jump
When the Blade Dancer lands from a fall, he may make a Move Silently check with a -6 penalty to make no sound when he lands. If he does not intentionally land the penalty is -10. This ability is supernatural.
Silent Running
The Blade Dancer may run and Move Silently at the same time. The suggested penalty is -20. With this ability, the penalty is halved (in this case, -10). This ability is supernatural.
Supreme Balance
The Blade Dancer does not suffer any DC penalties for walking on a slippery or angled surface. When making a Balance checks, the DC of the task is halved.
Ranged Deflect
The Blade Dancer is able to deflect ranged attacks coming at him with his knives. He makes an attack roll. The AC he must exceed to be successful is AC 23 for thrown daggers, AC 25 for arrows, and AC 28 for crossbow bolts.
Veiled Features
The Blade Dancer has a face which people have a difficult time remembering. People will not remember him just by looking at him. If they communicate with him, unless he tries to act different, the subject may make an Ability check using his Intelligence modifier vs. DC 20. The Blade Dancer may use Bluff, with a +10 circumstance bonus, if he attempts to act different. This ability is Supernatural.
