"Elements of a Serve"

       Every serve starts with basically the same elements, how the kajira, or kajirus puts them together is up to her/him. The color of their silks will also vary the serve. a white silk shows extreme modesty. a yellow or red is very sensual.     The kajira/kajirus starts out on the serving furs or at the feet of their owner.

    Serving furs:

      If they are on serving furs ivy has found that the safest way to offer to serve is to "Ask" to be allowed to approach the Free Person to offer service. Sometime's the Free Person does not wish a slave to approach without asking. so the safest way is to ask "All" whom you wish to serve. ivy ususally says something like "may ivy approach and offer service Master/Mistress insert name of the Free person.

    At Owner's Furs or Feet:

      You would either wait to be asked by your owner to see to the Guests or ask privately in pm,if your Master/Mistress would like you to offer service. or if your Owner was not present you would, do as ivy did if on serving furs, ask permission to approach and offer service.     Basic Elements:

    1. Ask to approach and offer service.

    2. Kneel & Position and offer service:

      White Silk's:For All Tower.
      Yellow Silk's: For Masters' Nadu; for Mistress' Tower.
      Red Silk's:For Masters` Nadu; For Mistress' Tower.

    3. Respond to Master/Mistress's answer:

        If Master/Mistress accepts and states her desire you respond with Yes Master/Mistress or some other response of your choosing.

        If Master/Mistress turns down your offer, you respond with Yes Master/Mistress, as You wish, perhaps another time. Or some other response of your choosing. All responses should be your own, showing respect with as much creativity as you can. ivy is just being cut and dry and showing technical aspects, it is "up to you to show the artistic flair".

        4. Stand, Take 3 steps back, and bow deeply with respect.

5. Turn, make way to servery & step to shelves.

6.Choose vessel,inspect for imperfections, wipe & polish.

7."Follow the Dictates of Beverage"Gorean beverages of individual serve. 8. Return to Free Person, kneel, finish preparing the food or beverage if the serve calls for it. 9. Ask if Master/Mistress wants it sipped. 10. Place a lingering kiss on the side, or Sip, then lower to breast pausing for 3 beats of your slave heart and offer a blessingExample Blessing
