h how I wish I can forget,
That day that you departed.
Your absence has only left,
Me with sorrow and brokenhearted.
For when you came into my world,
My life you changed forever.
You brought me joy and happiness,
And said we'd stay together.
For many years we laughed and smiled,
And always seem to be,
The best of friends and for a while
Our love was wild and free.
Until that day when I found out
You didn't have much time.
You didn't tell about your bout,
I thought that you were fine.
But little did I know that you
Were dying before my eyes.
And now my life is empty and blue
For with my world you have lost ties.
But I now promise you this my dear
That of me you will always be a part.
For whenever for you I shed a tear,
They will all be tears from my heart.
