A Family Forever
Our lives have now changed forever
For it hasn't gotten any better
What was once an unbreakable bond
Has now been drowned in a cold and deep pond.
As we grew further and further apart
Your love for me disappeared from your heart.
Needless to say that as time went on
My own love for you weakened til it was also gone.
But we still have ties, you and I
Until the day that we should die.
Three wonderful children God gave to us
To love, cherish, hug and I trust
That you will still be there for them
Not just as a mother but also a friend
For I will be their father, their teacher and friend
Until my life has come to an end.
So even though we're not together
Remember we still will be a family forever.
