Teenage Mom
Friends tell me I'm so lucky
To have a baby of my own
They don't see me when I'm crying
As I sit home all alone.
They all stopped by to see me
They were going to the mall
They said come on call a sitter
We'll all go have a ball.
I told them that I couldn't
Babysitters don't come cheap
Besides the baby's been so cranky
Last night I didn't get no sleep.
I hate to disillusion them
But I had to drop the bomb
My carefree days are over
Since I'm a teenage mom.
Two beautiful children
A heart filled with gold
Describes my friend Laura
Tho sometimes she's bold.
Despite the age difference
We're as close as can be
Tell each other our troubles
She means the world to me.
A really sweet girl
A constant smile on her face
I'm proud to be her friend
In my heart she's first place.
To my friend Laura
