How often does it happen that more then 70% of the puppies from one litter earn SchH3 titles in the United States? Ask Jim Hill of the USA breed advisory committee how many he has seen. How many litters have two bitches that earn schutzhund 3 titles? How many Doberman litters have five puppies who grow up to earn schutzhund 3 titles? This story is about a special litter of Dobermans who have beaten the odds. We are talking about the "C" litter of Bahnhof.
Colman's Calderon v. Bahnhof, SchH3, CGC (AKA "DEANNO")is shown with his namesake above. Deanno is high drive, willing to work, handler-friendly, and an excellent tracking dog. His tracking scores have been 98 (Florida), 97 (Pennsylvania),& 98 (Indiana) in SchH1,2,& 3, respectively. He is an "all-weather" dog. His SchH2 was earned in 100 degree weather while his SchH3 was earned in 30 degree weather. His obedience is always very sharp with a little improvising that is not fully appreciated by the judge. Protection is always very strong as can be seen in the trial photos below.
