A small bleep issued from the watches of three women in Crystal Tokyo. It was a sound that they hadn’t heard since hundreds of years earlier - a call of distress from the Crystal Palace. The last time any of the three being signaled had heard it was three hundred years ago, when the people of Nemesis had launched their attack on the city.
Fortunately, all three were in the same place, which would permit them to teleport to the palace. They couldn’t teleport alone, although the oldest of the three could easily get there. She had the garnet rod, after all, and it was capable of unlocking doors through time and space for her.
Wands appeared in their hands as they transformed into the mystical Sailor Senshi that guarded Crystal Tokyo, and Tokyo before it. Although very few others in the city knew it, they had also been the guardians of a long-forgotten era known as the Silver Millennium.
Kaioh Michiru, famous musician and artist, smiled as her transformation into Sailorneptune completed. Although she disliked battle, she was pleased that she was once more Sailorneptune. In the Silver Millennium, she and the others had always had their power coursing through them, and grown used to it being there. Now only four of them had ready access to their powers when they were not transformed, instead of all ten Senshi.
In a dark blue and gold fuku was Tenoh Haruka. She had become a famous race car driver years ago, winning all the big titles before retiring so that she and Michiru could tour the globe, playing duets with Michiru on her violin - the Marine Cathedral - and Haruka on the piano.
Last of all was Meioh Setsuna. She had been around for far longer than any of the others - since the dawn of time, befitting for the person whose duty was to guard it. As the garnet rod appeared in her hands, she tucked it under one arm and instead gripped Michiru and Haruka’s hands. Standing in a circle, all holding hands with one another, the three disappeared in a flash of light.
The three reappeared in the throne room of the palace where Neo-Queen Serenity, King Endymion, and Princess Usagi Small Lady Serenity lived. Since the Princess’ return from the past she had grown and was now in the body of a teenager, probably one fourteen or fifteen years old. The Princess was sitting on the floor, with the white skirt of her gown flowing around her as she looked up and smiled.
"I’m glad you came. Michiru-san, I think we have a surprise for you."
"What do you mean, Chibiusa-chan?" Haruka asked, perplexed. Despite the Princess’ change, everyone who knew her well still called her Chibiusa-chan, especially Hotaru.
"Hotaru-chan, could you get my mother and father please?" The dark-haired, beautiful girl standing in the shadows behind her best friend had been unnoticed so far. Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna were still somewhat uneasy at the fact that there was a Sailorsaturn but they were perfectly at ease with the fact that Sailorsaturn was Hotaru, and that no matter what she would never do anything to harm anyone. Their firefly was never deadly, unless it was against an enemy.
A few moments later, the King, Queen, and Hotaru returned into the room, Hotaru carrying a little girl who was maybe two or three years old, and very kawaii. Her pale blue hair was tied up in heart-shaped odango, with two loops that reached her shoulders hanging from each one, like two pigtails for each that were tied back into the odango.
"Michiru-san," Chibiusa told them with a grin as Hotaru set the little girl down on her feet, "This is Tsukiko-chan. She appeared in the palace just a few hours ago." The little girl blinked up at the three Senshi, her sea-blue eyes full of innocence. "The only clue we have to her identity was this. Show them your brooch, Tsukiko-chan."
"Otay," she agreed, holding up a silver circular-shaped brooch. There was a teal symbol on it, a triton...the symbol of Neptune.
"Oh my…" Setsuna said softly. Michiru, who had nearly fallen over, was being held upright by Haruka, who was also looking a bit pale. Setsuna knelt in front of the little girl, her dark green hair setting of her dark skin. "Tsukiko-chan, what does your brooch do?"
"Do?"
"Yes…does it let you wear a costume like mine?"
"Hai! Henshin fun, good for blastin’ bullies!" Neo-Queen Serenity held a hand to her mouth, shaking with suppressed laughter. Setsuna thought she could see tears of laughter beneath King Endymion’s mask, and Hotaru and Chibiusa had collapsed in a fit of giggles.
"Er…Tsukiko-chan, what’s your name when you transform?" Haruka asked, for once unsure of what to say.
"Thalassa, or Chibi ’tune. Use both," she explained.
The only sound was Michiru’s small gasp before crumpling into a heap, her nerves overloaded.
"Why did Michiru-mama fall down, Haruka-papa?" Tsukiko asked innocently.
Neo-Queen Serenity joined the two giggling girls as Setsuna strained to keep Michiru and Haruka, now both unconscious, from hitting the floor.
"Setsuna-mama? Why did Michiru-mama AND Haruka-papa fall down?"
The Senshi of Revolution shut her eyes. "This is just a bad dream, I’ll wake up in a few minutes."
"Welcome to reality," Hotaru answered, grinning.
"This just isn’t my day.."
END ^^ Bwahahahahahaha :)
A guide to the names and Japanese:
Nemesis - also known as The Black Moon
Senshi - it means Soldier, short for Sailor Soldier. Yes, that is the same thing as a ... "Scout"
Kaioh Michiru - "Michelle" in the dub, but if you wrote it the way Western Civilization would she'd be Michiru Kaioh.
Sailorneptune - I dunno how you write your Sailor's name but I do it like that =P thbbt. :)
Tenoh Haruka - "Amara." Or Haruka Tenoh to westerners.
Meioh Setsuna - No dub name yet. Westerners would write that "Setsuna Meioh."
Sailoruranus, Sailorpluto - see Sailorneptune
Neo-Queen Serenity - future form of Sailormoon
King Endymion - future form of Tuxedo Kamen (Tuxedo Mask)
Princess Usagi Small Lady Serenity/Chibiusa - "Rini"
san - a term of respect. Usually used with a name.
chan - another term of respect. This one's usually used by young girls or to a younger person @_@ I think. It's late, no guarantees on how correct this is ^^
Hotaru & Sailorsaturn - she originates in Sailormoon S.
kawaii - "cute"
odango - "meatball head's" hair style.
Tsukiko - tsuki meaning moon, ko meaning child
Henshin - transformation
Thalassa - a small moon of Neptune (the planet)
Michiru-mama, Haruka-papa, Setsuna-mama: Tsukiko calls them this because the three were raising her in the far future and she recognizes them. It's like saying "mommy" o.o;
