"Why am I sitting here?" she asked the henshin stick that still lay in her hand. "Is it because of you everyone I knew and loved is gone? Dead?" she wondered. "Why did they come to our planet? Because of you? Did they want you? I guess I’ll never know now!" she said with a great sigh. Still wondering why her home was attacked she asked it more questions. Like, why did it happen to her? Why didn't she have any friends on board? Was it just a joke? Would she ever see her mother and planet that she dearly loved ever again?

Surely she must be dreaming! There was absolutely no way this terrible incident could have happened to the Princess of Vesuve! There was just no way. "That's it!" she proclaimed," It’s just a joke and will be over with soon!" She looked out the window into space. She looked at the passing planets, wondering how life was there. Never had she left her planet. Never. Only had she seen other planets in pictures. Of course that was at school. "How lovely space is..." thought the princess.

"But it seems so lonely, nobody to speak to. To tell awesome tales to. It's without a friend in all its lonesome." she said aloud. Ikkyoku continued to look out the window at the things and planets she passed, wondering. Wondering. Watching everything, she told space that she would always be it's friend. She began to think of what her mother had told her, space was her and she was it. What did she mean? Somehow she knew she would find out everything.

Ikkyoku shook her head trying not to think of her dead mother. But she couldn't help it, she remembered the good times when she was young. When she first found out her mother's name, Sakura. And when she sat in her room all day and night when she was ill. Those where the good times. The past. Now it’s the future, things are different. "Times have changed so much since then..." she whispered while still looking out the window. She stayed silent for a while, looking out the window.

She was addicted to space. And it was to her. Not realizing it, she was almost to Earth. A place where no one from her home had ever been. All they knew was that it had life, and lots of it. Finally she stopped gazing out at space, at all the stars, planets, and moons. She looked back at the henshin stick. It was black with a ring around a silvery-gold planet. Her planet. Wishing she were home she stared deeply at it. This was another new thing to her, her planet. No school had a picture of it that she knew.

She was awed by its beauty. Wondering if anyone was on board the ship she got up out of her seat and walked around looking for others. Finding no one she sadly walked into the cockpit. Maybe someone was there? Maybe. She opened the door and saw no one. She was alone. The last one. A survivor. The only survivor. She sighed once again thinking that it was no longer a joke. Ikkyoku looked out the window and saw what lay ahead of her. Miles of space, her friend.

But she also saw many planets, maybe one she was going to? A message popped up on the screen. "13 hours until landing" read the screen. "13 hours?!" she thought. "I guess I could sleep until I reach the place..." she answered back. The message disappeared and she left the cockpit. It would be a long and lonely night. She prepared a bed for herself. After changing into her pajamas she turned off all of the lights. She laid in the bed she made. Before she went to sleep she said a small prayer and closed her eyes.

But she couldn’t sleep. She thought of her home. While thinking she fell asleep. Far behind her was the evil that attacked her home. Fortunately for her, most died. But the bad news was that the leader and maybe 5 of her minions survived. After 13 hours of sleeping she felt the ship shake heavily. Oh no! Was she being attacked?! Quickly the frightened princess got up and ran into the cockpit. She was entering Earth’s atmosphere! She strapped on the seatbelt and readied for landing.

She prayed that she would live. "I’m too young to die!" she yelled.
