"Evil forces are attacking! Alert the queen!" shouted a knight to a messenger. The messenger quickly gave the message to the planet Vesuve’s (Vezyv) queen. She told him and many guards to secure the palace while she talked to her daughter Princess Ikkyoku. The queen rushed to her only child’s room and told her the situation while she packed. "Where am I going?" asked the blonde haired girl. "I’m not sure, but there’s something you need to know," she said calmly,"You may never see me again, nor anyone else...but you must know that you are a senshi with amazing powers! Let me explain..." she strongly said to her confused daughter.
While explaining everything she knew to her daughter the guards secured the palace. Minutes later a guard rushed in with helpers to carry the princess’s heavy luggage. As the helpers left the guard told the saddened queen that there was a ship leaving to another planet for Ikkyoku. While telling her that yet another man ran in. He told the group that the shield was weakening. "She must leave now to survive my queen!" he alerted them.
With a final kiss and goodbye, the princess left her mother in tears asking," Why?! Why can’t you come with me?" Her mother held in her tears and shouted," I must stay with my people, it would be a disgrace to let them die as I escape! It’s only the right thing to do! Gomen! I love you and don’t you ever forget that, okay?" A single tear rolled down her cheek as she watched her only daughter leave the palace. The queen then watched as the ship left the planet. While watching she sadly spoke to herself saying," It was only the right thing to do...don’t ever forget me..."
The queen was suddenly cut off when a knight told her that the evil forces couldn’t be beaten, they would surely die. The queen wiped away the tears that had fallen down her now red cheeks." Keep trying! Bring out all troops! Put the shields to maximum and get out the special weapons! Get ships out there! Now, go!" she demanded and the knight hurriedly left.
The queen put her hands over her brooch and let the tears roll down her face. She would die for all of those she loved. Sadness built up inside of her, but she knew that she must be strong! As she looked out the window once more, she saw a huge explosion occur. That was it. No longer could Queen Sakura Senbotsu be weak and kind, she had to do something to save her city, no, her world. Quickly she ran to the maintenance room. There she stood in front of all of the controls. Pressing a square sand colored button she stepped onto a platform and disappeared.
Sakura had transported to a platform outside of the Palace. It was a greek looking platform. She then shouted words unable to make out because of the noise. Her brooch began to glow and a crystal appeared in her raised hands. The noise was no longer, she held the glowing crystal high above her head and shouted," This is for you Ikkyoku! And everyone else too! You shall pay for all the hurt and pain! Leave this planet NOW!" As Ikkyoku looked back one last time, the planet was covered by a white light.
On the planet her mother whispers," Damn you..." and dies after taking one last breath. The planet explodes in a bright flash and Ikkyoku screamed and began to heavily cry. "Mamma! Why?! You weren’t supposed to die! I will get revenge for you! And everyone else too! It’s just not fair!" she screamed while looking at the dust the planet she had loved so much left. She turned around, now out of site of the planet and stared at the henshin stick in her hand.
