"Hey Jon," I said.
"Hi," was his response. He was watching swimming.
"Why are you watching swimming?" I said him.
"Because all those hot women are in wet bathing suits," he said and looked at me sideways, obviously grinning.
"You are a psycho," I said while grabbed a magazine sitting on the table.
"Well, you know Chris. Spending so much time with JC, Joey, and Justin, has made me one," he said laughing.
"Oh really, well I'm glad your proud of that," I said.
"Indeed I am," he said and turned his attention back to the TV.
I stood up and walked into the kitchen, only to find no one there. I sat down on a chair and looked out the window, thinking of what all had transpired in the past 24 hours.
My thoughts went through so many topics, but they all seemed to end up having me think of Jen. The way her hair blew in the wind, the face she made when she was mad, the way her gentle touch would drive me crazy and crave more.
What seemed like minutes, was hours, and I soon realized that I has been sitting there for 3 hours.
I got up and walked to the stairs, passing the living and finding out that Jon was still sitting there watching ESPN. I quickly made it to my room and got ready for bed. Soon sleep invaded my whole body and I was gone.
The next morning I awoke at 7:00, which was early to me. I threw on a shirt and walked downstairs. I went into the kitchen and made myself some breakfast. When I finished my meal, it was around 7:30 and Joey walked in.
"So Chris, I heard you were cheating," he said slyly.
"Nope, sorry to disappoint, but I wasn't. Justin jumped to conclusions," I said.
"Really," he said in disbelief.
"Yes, really. You know what, I don't care what you think because I know what happened and you don't," I said defensively.
"Settle down Chris, I was just kidding," he said and sat down.
