NEWS & RUMORS

22.Nov.2006- The Tag Team World Cup is in full swing, and man is it awesome! The competition really stepped up it's game this month with the events in Mexico and Japan (NOTE: All tapings have been completed for Mexico and Japan even if not all have aired at this point.) The teams of Jado & Gedo and Yoshihiro Tajiri & Mikey Whipwreck advanced in matches in Japan whereas Mexico's Most Wanted scored a major victory in a first round match over NWA World Tag Team Champions LAX. More good things are coming in this tournament...Speaking of tournaments, the Supertitan Competition is in the works. Rumor has it that the competition will be very different this year. The wrestlers will really have to work to get a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship...Heather Carter could very well be the best female wrestler in the world. Although she only just debuted this year, she is already a multiple-time World Women's Champion. Following her gutsy performances against Aja Kong and Bull Nakano, the entire world now knows how good she truly is. Can't wait to see that four-way cage match (with Angel as the fourth woman)...It's great to have Dawn Marie as a part of the GWF. I wonder if she'll put her interviewing duties aside once it's time for the Impact Players' next match in the World Cup...GWF, ECW, and WWE are planning the next When Worlds Collide. It's expected to take place on December 16, 2006, in Orlando, of all places...GWF officials have been doing some heavy scouting recently...Congratulations to Psicosis on winning the vacant World Cruiserweight Championship. It'll be interesting to see how he handles all of the GWF's cruiserweights...The New Elite's suspension will end on December 8th, a little longer than the original thirty day stipulation. Will they come back as a unit or will they all have individual goals? We'll have to wait and see...Is anyone else excited at the possibility of the New Foundation battling the Stampede Bulldogs in the World Cup? The brackets aren't online yet, but that could happen in the quarterfinals if the Bulldogs get by the Voodoo Kin Mafia...
