"A MESSAGE FROM THE INVENTOR"

As a self employed General Contractor for over 25 years, I know the ins and outs of everyday situations on a jobsite. Saving time and labor is a must in the competitive construction market, and here is a tool that will help you do just that.

Sometime ago, my brother was building a new Fire House in his community. I was sub-contracted to do the concrete, drywall, and some other work. The job specifications called for 4' X 12' X 5/8" firecode drywall (approximately 140 lbs per sheet). With a 15' ceiling and only one helper available, it was extremely difficult to control and fasten sheets of this size.

Stepping back and taking a look at the situation, I knew there had to be an easier way. A quick trip to the shop provided me with some flat stock with holes I drilled in specific locations. These pieces provided us with the "third" man we desperatly needed, and completed the ceiling in no time flat!

The reaction and encouragement from the other tradesmen on the job confirmmed my suspicions that I had indeed a winner, and to further develope the idea. Thus was born "THE HANGING HELPER".

The "HANGING HELPER" is a detachable, re-usable, multi-position metal bracket for installing sheet goods such as drywall or plywood overhead. If you have ever installed these items overhead, you have expierenced many of the problems that make this work difficult...just like I did.

The "HANGING HELPER" reduces stress and fatigue to the installer by safely holding the sheets in place until the board is attached with screws or nails.

There are no height limits with this tool. It can be used to temporarily support sheets of drywall on flat ceilings, vaulted ceilings, and tall vertical wall areas. The higher your ceiling job, the more you will like using the "HANGING HELPER".

If you have the strength and balance to control a 4' X 8' X 1/2" sheet of drywall overhead, you can install a ceiling by yourself. No more need of bulky, expensive lifts. No more scuffed panels from fabricated "deadmans", no more waiting for another man to grab the other end. You will have a safer working enviroment while cutting labor costs at the same time. It is said "Necessity is the Mother of invention". Thanks Mom!

Thank you for your interest,
Jim Murphy
