    • (Eddie):Where did you get your band name from and who came up with it?

    (Michel)... I along with Sven and Wannes came up with the name RITUAL. But because of the fact that this name was already in use we changed the name to REACH YOU ALL. And if you say REACH YOU ALL fast enough it sounds like RITUAL. So that is where the our name comes from.

    (Eddie):Tell us a little history of how the band formed?

    (Michel):The band was formed 8 years ago. At that time I was not in the band. REACH YOU ALL played trash metal back then. Sven and Wannes are the founders of the band. But they had a lot of problems with finding the right bass and guitar player. After a lot of coming and going of bass and guitar players, Marc (bass) joined the band and some time after that I (Michel) joined the band. And this line-up has been together for over 3 years now so you might say that we are friends who are joined by the music. One thing changed when I joined the band and that is the music style. I'm not a big trash metal fan so the music changed to metalcore because the bands that I listen to our bands like : Machine Head, Pantera, Pro-Pain, ... and that are not trash metal bands. But all the band members put their thoughts in our music and that is how we get the REACH YOU ALL metalcore.

    (Eddie):Where can we purchase your CD,and how much?

    (Eddie):What was your most memorable experience making the cd or playing a gig or both?

    (Michel): Our most memorable gig was playing as a support act for the Cro-Mags. These guys are really cool. Even as a support act we had a great sound comming from the PA. Sometimes the sound of the support acts are bad but that was not so at that gig. The crowd was about 1000 crazy metal/hardcore freaks. And the entire gig was cool.We have had more memorable gigs but this one is special.

    (Eddie):What are the bands influences?

    (Michel): Our influences are: Sepultura, Machine Head, Pantera, Pro-Pain, Metallica (even the Metallica of today) and Korn.There are more bands but these are the biggest ones.

    (Eddie):How would you describe your bands sound?

    (Michel): Our sound is made out of a heavy down tuned guitar and bass and very smooth,aggresive drums. Our drummer gets a lot of influences from Sepultura so that will give you an idea of how he drums. As for as the vocals go I think that the vocals put the core in metalcore. So if you put it together you have a heavy fast band with a lot of jump times.

    (Eddie):If we were to come see you live,what can we expect to see?

    (Michel): If you come to see us live do NOT expect to find any points in the set where you find some time to relax because their aren't any. We normally play a set of 1 hour and 15 minutes. And the set speeds up to crash speed and it slows down after 1 hour and 15 minutes. So if you come to see us live then have a few drinks before kick off and get ready to freak out.

    (Eddie):Who produced the cd and where?

    (Michel): Our second CD " ALL SYSTEMS GO" was produced by REACH YOU ALL and Jef Digneffe. And the CD was recorded at DYPRINS RECORDINGS in Belgium.

    (Eddie):What made you want to become a musician and who if a band or individual?

    (Michel): I saw my first Metallica concert when I as 11 years old. That made such a big impression on me that I bought an electric guitar the day after the Metallica show and I haven't stopped playing since then.

    (Eddie):Any new information for your fans or future fans?

    (Michel): Currently we are making new songs for our next CD. We already have 8 songs and we are planning on recording about 12 songs. The CD will be recorded at the end of this year or the beginning of next year.The title of the CD will be....

    " DOWN TO THE CORE "

    The only thing that we have to do is find a record company that will help with the recordings. But we'll get that sorted out when all 12 songs are written.But if you know any record company that might be interested then let us know.
