Tomato Rice



Ingredients :


2 cups cooked rice
2 tomatoes chopped
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp butter / oil
1 tsp red chillie powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
5 curry leaves
2 whole red chilly
a bunch of corriander leaves finely chopped
8-10 cashews fried
cinnamon, cloves & bay leaves

Method :


1. Heat oil / butter in a pan, add cinnamon, cloves & bay leaves. Add ginger-garlic paste.

2. Add whole red chilly, & curry patta. Then add tomatoes & cook till oil seperates.

3. Add red chillie powder, turmeric powder & salt.

4. Then add the rice. Add some water & leave it on a low flame for 5 minutes.

5. Garnish with fried cashews & chopped corriander leaves.
