Lemon Rice



Ingredients :


2 cups cooked rice
Juice of 1 big lime
1 tbsp butter / oil
1 tsp split urad dal
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
3 whole red chilly
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2-3 tbsp grated coconut
salt to taste
5 curry leaves
a bunch of corriander leaves finely chopped

Method :


1. Cook rice with haldi & salt. Set aside.

2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds & allow them to splutter. Then add the split urad dal, whole red chilly, & curry patta.

3. Add the rice. Turn off the flame.

4. Then, add the lemon juice to it.

5. Garnish with chopped corriander leaves & grated coconut.
