Dal Rice



Ingredients :


1/4 cup chana dal soaked in water
2 cups rice
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp butter / oil
salt to taste

Method :


1. Cook chana dal on a low flame with a pinch of turmeric powder till done.

2. Cook rice with some turmeric powder. When almost done, mix the chana dal into it. Cover & cook on a low flame.

3. Serve hot with Sai-Bhaji (a traditional sindhi dish).
