Sweet Corn Soup
Ingredients :
6 large fresh corn-on-the-cobs
3/4 tsp aji-no-moto
1/2 tsp soya sauce
2 tbsp cornflour
green chillies in vinegar
chillie sauce to serve
1 egg
salt to taste
a pinch of aji-no-moto
Method :
1.Grate the corn. Take out a few whole corn niblets.
2. Pressure cook the grated corn in 6 cups water.
3. Mix cornflour in 2 cups of cold water & add to the cooked corn mixture. When it boils, add salt, & aji-no-moto to it.
4. Serve hot with green chillies in vinegar & chillie sauce.
5. Just before serving, put 1 egg white in a small strainer & press it with a spoon over the hot soup.
