~God-Fearing~

Trembling angels cling desperately to the edge,
Nobody to rescue them this time.
Where's their God to lift them from sin?
The evil is taking them in this time.
Get down on your knees and say your prayers,
Words mixed together that hold no meaning.
Hopes and dreams, fears and nightmares,
Your conceived image of Heaven and Hell.
Believe what you choose to believe,
Live on the lies that others feed you.
Years upon years be you God-fearing,
Do all right and live by the Bible.
Tell me a story without any meaning,
Say that your God is our Father.
Believe in the religion that Jesus helped create,
And trust in the book written in unknown times.
Who's your savior?
Who's the prophet?
Which grounds do you live on?
Be true to yourself, God-fearing people.
Be afraid of He who is not there.
Don't tell me to come back to your God.
You've no proof He is real.
