Aunt Deb, My Best Friend

Lady down on love, yet loved by many
Such sorrow in her heart, yet she always smiles
I tell her my woes, my cares, my fears
And she shares hers with me.
Down on love and the hurt would consume her
If it weren't for the fact she's so strong
Battling cancer and raising seven kids
Well, eight if you include me, as she does
She soothes my heartaches with her wisdom and love
My aunt is not just another beautiful face
She is my best friend.
