Mother

You gave up your everything to raise a little boy
When you were fresh out of high school
My beautiful blue eyes pierced your heart
And my silent cries for love were heard by you.
You raised me well mother...thank you.
Good strong country background
And you taught me about women and life.
That both need caring and respect.
And above all, always be yourself...
Now the grown up redneck I am
Full of love and respect-all owed to you.
I love you Mom, you mean the world to me
No matter what, you'll always be my Mother.
