My Siblings

Light, fluffy and white; the snow falls on my face
I'm returned to the winter pleasures of times past
Back when the simple things meant so much.
Times with my siblings, who have now grown
I often wonder if they sit and think of
our times together ...the good and the bad.
Will there a time when we're together and happy again?
Sometimes I wish I could wrap my arms around them
Shelter them from the trials life has already served me
Deep down, I know this is impossible...
True success in life is acquired thru life's trials and errors.
I stick out my tongue and catch some of the alpine white flakes
And I smile cuz I know they'll do just fine.
