St. Valery sur Somme, France

After spending a few nights in London I headed down to France to meet my good friend Ophelia (last seen here in the Wales pictures). After a few mishaps on the way-- a missed train in Calais forced a quick overnight stay in Paris -- I arrived in St. Valery just in time for a trek across the bay. It was about 3km across to the next village Crotoy, where we stopped for a picnic.

The rest of the week was spent in a similar fashion; swimming, kayaking, biking, eating and sleeping out. Glorious!

The incredable (though not edible) Famille Bon

A not-so-pretty parting of our ways at a lonely Oxford Tube stop near the Thornhill Park and Ride. It was off to L.A. and beyond for her while I headed back to London and then on up to Edinburgh.
