splash
in the water and a few grunts from stella and the other 3 of us stood and
gazed in astonishment.
stella cast,
hooked and landed an 18 inch "big"
mouth bass, all by herself.
not ,
not
but
large mouths, all on her own. with a rubber worm and a bobber. and not
a single tangle in her open faced reel.
needless to say, the rest of
us were a little envious of the little blonde bass master.
and she gloated and giggled
about it the whole way home.
just like any of us would.
my hat is off to both my children
for what they have accomplished this day.
this is one of those days that
they will reminisce about for the rest of their lives.
this is one of those days that
they will strive to recapture with their own children someday.
i thank my father for introducing
me to the wonders of camping and fishing, he bought me my first fly rod
around age 14 at lake glendale,
HI DAD !!!
and also thanks to my brother
in law jeff who taught me how
to use it on the streams and rivers for trout.
(hehehehe)
