About me? I started taking photos when I was 14.I also started truly writing when I was 14,although I did write my first "poem" when I was 6. Years later I'm still doing both.I like to travel a lot which is obvious from the subjects of my photos.I don't use a expensive professional camera.I can't sit here and tell you that I went to school for photography because I haven't.I don't believe that you need to go to school to be a photographer though.What you need is vision and I have that vision.I believe that photography is about seeing what others don't see and showing them through your eyes,through your photos...Trying to enlighten someone to what they are missing.I see things that others don't see.I see the beauty in things that others think are ugly and through my photos I am trying to open peoples eyes..Share with you the beauty that I see..When I'm taking a picture I'm usually thinking "God this is beautiful.I have to take a picture so that I can always remember this and show others what a beautiful site I saw.".My photos also share with you a part of me.. Something that touches me for whatever reason I photograph..So my camera is also a window to the inner me..It's my second set of eyes and they say that the eyes are the windows to the soul..I hope that you enjoy my pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them..
Ocean+New York-I love taking pictures of the ocean..I love being near the ocean..I always have ever since I was little..The thing I like about it most now is how when you look across the water it seems like it never ends and it makes you wonder if it does and where..I always feel calm and peaceful when I'm at the ocean..I have a love for beaches too.I think that has to do with being in Pittsburgh most of my life with no beaches to enjoy..Most of my ocean pictures were taken in Alaska where I spend most of my time on the beach.I also like taking photos of harbors and ships.My mother took me to see the Tall Ships when I was little and ever since then I've been in love with ships and harbors.When I'm on a harbor I get excited thinking of pirates and the adventures that happened long ago..The old looking ships bring all that back..
Sky+Fall-The best way I can explain these two sections would be as my two favorite times in the world..I love to take photos during Fall basically because of the beautiful colors the foliage produces.Fall is a beautiful season with everything dying only to be reborn again..The sky photos are mostly of my favorite time of day,which is when the sun is setting..I also like to take weird pictures of the sky..I spend a lot of time looking at the sky..Does that mean that my head is in the clouds?
Hawaii+Mountains-I always dreamed of going to Hawaii and a few years ago I got to.I have a lot of beautiful pictures of Hawaii and Hawaiian sunsets..I fell in love with the place..Didn't want to go home..And I definitely plan on going back..The mountains are another product of Alaska.The first time I went to Alaska was the first time I saw the mountains..Up until that point I had never seen a real mountain before and they were so beautiful with their snow covered peaks..Also most of the mountains of Alaska are really active volcanoes..
