Kathleen Frye, always looking for a reason to laugh heartily and love passionately, her absolute devotion to rescue animals was only matched by her genuine love and devotion to her dearest loved ones in her life. An unparalleled work ethic engraved her memory in the lives of her coworkers at UPS, ACL, Eriez Magnectics, Naturally Yours Designs, Fairview School District and other fortunate employers who had the privilege of her loyalty and personal commitment to the job. Year after year, in the worst of weather and with the heaviest of packages, and with all of the trials and tribulations that come with a longterm, full time career at UPS, Kathy persevered with professional performance and achievement. Afoot in Erie and the surrounding areas, Kathleen's vibrant, curious, affable and loving personality was a magnet for wonderful friendships. Along her paths, she drew in people from all walks of life and her unbridled generosity knew no bias. Her diverse interests harmonized with friendships across all barriers. Topping her list of favorites was snow and more snow, making this area her favorite spot even though she travelled extensively in the United States and in Europe, bringing her unforgettable laugh with her wherever she hung her hat. In addition, mowing her lawn and the many lawns of her lucky neighbors also brought her the utmost of contentment.
If you wish, please make a contribution in her name to Orphan Angels Cat Sanctuary or to the ANNA Shelter to commemorate her love and devotion to rescue animals. She would want us to laugh and that's what we will do at her Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 13th from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Beechwood Golf Course Banquet Room in Fairview.
May her beautiful heart and spirit keep laughter, love and generosity in our lives forever.
