This Mural was meant to bring the spirit of Renoir into this families home. They wanted this to look like you could walk right out onto the "luncheon on the houseboat" and mingle with these characters which I've been informed were Renoir's' closest friends. This piece took an entire month to complete considering the detail involved when doing a rendition of a masterwork it is in fact like painting a portrait of a painting. such a work would require a 2-3 thousand dollar investment at least. |
This "Bridge Scene" was just a small part of an immense wall mural painted in a back room the apposing wall was too close to allow me enough space to get a good shot of the entire wall. eventually I will take individual shots and grid them together but for now this image is note worthy enough to suffice on its own.n. |
