So i did, I saved all my money up and bought one. He was not broke to ride yet, he was too young. I had to train him myself, he was bought at an auction. So he was not trained for anyhing. I had to get him use to a halter first. Then I just won his confidence ,so he was not afraid of me.

I worked alot of hours with him to get him to let me ride, and then i rode him in the parades(with My twin sister and her horse) ,trials all over. I just loved that horse so much, he was beautiful! All shiny redish brown, with a white star on his forhead. And i know he love me too, I miss him now , as i had to find him a good home. When i moved away, got married and had my children. They were the best times of my life.

Christine use to volunteer at Lynn's Ranch in the summer of 90. He rented his horses out for trail rides. Christine use to go there and round up the horses, bathe them, brush them, help get them saddled for riders, walk them to cool them down, and put them back in the barn. In exchange she was aloud to ride one of the horses for an hour or so a couple of times. Of course she always chose Blacky! Who was her favorite!
