Cats
I had the most terrible time working out how to do this page. Moyra's Web
Jewels has great graphics, but if you don't know javascript and some
of the tougher html, it just doesn't work all that well. I had to
fiddle around in paint, and none of the images are mouseovers or links,
but oh well, you'll have to deal. :) Also, this background is
fuzzier than the original table because saving as jpeg does that.
Well anyway, to the original topic. "Cats and the Heaviside Layer"
(my studio's summer ballet) went wonderfully! It was much easier to
act like a cat with all the costume and everything on. And the face
paint... eesh. But my part apparently went really well, 'cause I
got a lot of compliments. Pictures coming soon! And then you get to
laugh at me in my funky face paint. My class had to go and talk to the
littlest girls because they were scared of us. Isn't that awful? :)
Well, summer's
going great. A couple of friends and I saw some movies (and are
going to go see some more) and did some shopping and some
"sightseeing"... hee hee. Oh, and that three week vacation I
was worried about is cancelled! Yahoo! I'm still going to Indiana
for a week, but, you know. This means I can junior council
after all! Yay! I can also stop saving my money for the
vacation and go and buy those CD's I've been wanting. The writing
isn't going to quickly. I haven't scheduled time for it yet.
I should. I cleaned my room (floor and dresser and shelves)
but cleaning the shelves made the floor messy again, so I need
to clean it again. I also need to clean the desk and under
the bed and my junk drawers. I'm going to ignore the closet for
now.
My youth group went swimming in a lake yesterday and tomorrow we're
going to Gettysburg battlefield. If I feel like it later
today, I think I'll go and tan on my lawn. I need a tan
desperately, and I'd like to get one before Creation, which is
next week! Yay! I still haven't filled out my permission
slips. I just finished the book I bought: Green Rider
by Kristen Britain. It's really good! I definitely recommend it.
It's (in paperback) in bookstores now! Lol. Now I'm reading
The Phantom Rickshaw by Rudyard Kipling. It's thoroughly
creepy. I read it last summer. It's Indian ghost stories.
Well, I guess that's all I wanted to say to everybody. Later!
