I haven't felt this good in simply ages! I went with two friends to file in an office and to see Minority Report at the theater. It was beautiful out (well, I suppose it still is. Maybe I'll sleep with my blind open so I can see the moon). I came home, cleaned my floor (I know, that's an odd thing to do, but it makes me feel better when it's clean and sometimes if it's dirty it gives me insomnia. Long story), ate dinner and went for a walk. During the fall/winter/spring I go out through the fields to a neighbor's paths, but I was out that way a couple of days ago (startled a couple of hawks) and the grass was too high. So this evening I went through my grandmother's path to the neighbor's paths. I guess I've been reading too much poetry; after the usual routine I decided to explore the road less traveled by and found a cathedral walled in by trees, lit by green stained glass and golden sunlight and carpeted in moss. I almost felt like I should remove my sneakers and go barefoot. And for once, I was alone, really alone, not talking to the happy little other me's in my head (no, I'm not schizo), just talking to me and liking it. And I'm seeing the world in the light I saw it in... it seems so long ago. You just wouldn't believe how wonderful I feel! It's like I've just been given my faith in life back.

Minority Report is an awesome movie if you don't mind being grossed out by eyeballs. I won't tell you any more in case you go see it. This is like, the summer of the movies! S, E and I have gone to see, like, five movies! Spiderman (awesome but I hated the ending), Star Wars (okay, I guess, but really the only reason I liked it was Yoda fighting, a couple of smart comments by Obi Wan, Amidala's ever-changing wardrobe and drooling over Hayden Christensen), Bad Company (roll-in-the-aisles-funny) and Sum of All Fears (very good) so far plus M.R., and we want to see MIB 2 and maybe the Bourne Identity, and I want to see Reign of Fire (at least I know Rowan would like it!) and I'm kinda intrigued by Signs, although I agree with S, I'd want to go to see it with a guy so he could tell me when it's safe to look.

I have never gotten to hang out with my friends so much before! This is great! You guys rock!

Bought Eve 6 and Enya the other day. Yay! Have a homework meeting Mon, plus I have to pack for Creation. I'm going up early (Tues). I hope I can find all my friends' campsites!

Well, it's getting late, and if I want to get all the graphics up on this page tonight, I'm gonna have to stop typing. Hope everybody is having as good a summer as I am!

PS, there really IS a nicer background for this, it just wasn't in the zip file. I hope to get my hands on it soon.
