To all you people out there who actually like Valentine's Day, I think you're insane. Valentine's Day is one of the few holidays that I seriously think has been overcommercialized. Rowtree says it makes some people want to barf (she knows this from personal experience (don't ask)), and Victoryfly thinks that Hershey's and Hallmark got together with communist Russia. Personally, I think it's depressing. I haven't gotten a Valentine from someone other than my parents since 6th grade, when people were required to give them to their classmates.
I even went to the high school Valentine's Day dance. For once, I think I actually looked good. Only one problem- tell that to the guys. The fast dances were fun, but the slow dances were boring. I kind of just sat there like a bump on a log. I ended up talking to a 10th grader on the last dance ("Arms Wide Open") because I had no one to dance with and her date was in the lobby taking pictures.
Excuse me a moment, I have to slap Rowtree. She is reading this out loud in a very weird voice. "HEY!" There, done. Now I'll add a bunch of graphics to make this page less depressing, and I'm done!
