TIGER CUB ARCHIEVES

GENTLEMEN, START YOUR ENGINES! Our Pinewood Derby was held on Tuesday, February 20 at 7 p.m. in the Tinicum School Cafeteria. Matt came in 1st place, Brandon in __ place, Shane in __ place and won Tigers Best of Show. Fun was had by everyone...and every boy was commended for their sportsmanship-like behavior.

The MONSTER TRUCK JAM was awesome! Brandon and Matt had a great time on Saturday, February 10 while joining the Pack on a trip to watch the Monster Trucks. We all routed for GraveDigger to win, but Monster Patrol stole the show.

The Pack Meeting on January 17 was packed! The Tigers received some beads and passed inspection with flying colors! Our Cake Auction was alot of fun. Brandon made a bundt cake; Shane made a chocolate cake that said "Cub Scout Pack #37 is the best;" and Matt made a dinosaur cake. Great job guys.

Merry Christmas! On Friday, December 22--The Pack celebrated Christmas in style! Singing Christmas Carols...Receiving Awards (Shane and Matt each received two orange beads and three white beads)...S'mores & Hot Chocolate...AND...A Visit From Santa! During his visit, Santa gave the boys special gifts...their PINEWOOD DERBY KITS!!!

November's Pack Meeting on Wednesday, November 22 was packed full with achievement awards. Brandon and Matt received their Tiger Totem Belt Covers. The boys also played a game of "Cat and Mouse," taught by the Bears.

Our Holiday Food Drive on Saturday, November 11 (Bags Out) and Saturday, November 18 (Bags In) was a huge success! Thanx to the Tigers and parents for helping out.

Ber sure had a fun-filled time at Johnson's Corner Farm on Saturday, October 28. Not only did he pick a great pumpkin...had a good time on the hayride...but he also meet some friendly animals. Look at pictures in our PHOTO ALBUM.

TIGERS, WOLVES, BEARS...WEBELOS?...OH MY!!! The Pack Halloween Party on Friday, October 27, was a great time for all! Shane was dressed as a Ninja (newest member to the Pack and first place winner for costume in his den); Ber was dressed as Superman; and Matt was dressed as a Ghoul! Lots of games and junk food made this a party the boys won't soon forget! See our pictures from the Halloween Party.

INTRODUCING THE NEWEST MEMBERS TO OUR PACK --- BRANDON...MATT...and BRANDON (or Ber for short!). The Tigers got off to a roaring start on Wednesday, October 11. The Tiger Cub Promise and Motto were introduced to the boys as well as the purpose of the Tiger Cubs. Ghosts were made by the Tigers to decorate the cabin for Halloween. They also played Tiger Concentration with Brandon winning first place. WELCOME TO OUR PACK---HAVE A GREAT YEAR!!!

CALLING ALL BIKERS!!! It was quite a sight to see on Monday, October 2, the Bears and members of Pack #37 were seen riding together around Tinicum. Brandon even joined in on the fun!

The POOL PARTY on Saturday, August 26 was a huge success. It was held at Tinicum Township Swimming Club and Brandon and Matt had a great time. We had lots of hamburgers, hot dogs, and (of course) swimming! Look here for our Pack picture at the Splash Party.

Our second Car Wash Fundraiser of the year held on Saturday, July 22 at the Lester Fire House was a success! It was a perfect day this time---SUN, SUN, SUN! Brandon and Matt (brand-new to our Pack) represented the Tigers and did a great job! Not only did we wash cars and trucks, but we even had a boat (YES--A BOAT!) and bikes drop by! WOLVES...HERE WE COME!

March-2-3-4! Stephen, JJ and Thomas all participated in Tinicum Township's Memorial Day Parade held on Monday, May 29, 2000.

Brian and JJ went to the Franklin Institute's Camp In 2000. We learned about flight, "Liquid Air," morse code, radios, and lots more. We even looked through a giant telescope on the Franklin Institute's roof and saw a star!

Our last Den Meeting as Tigers will be held Tuesday, May 23 at 6:15 p.m. in Township Hall. We had the best time!

Thomas and JJ had a great time at the Car Wash held on Saturday, May 22nd. Even though it rained all day, we still made $195.

During the May Pack Meeting, some of us received our first belt loop - Baseball! Congratulations -- Thomas, Steven, Ben, and JJ!

On April 30 the Pack held a Cleaning Day to clean our cabin and grounds. Thank you to JJ and his dad and sister, Thomas and his mom, and Steven and his mom and brother. Thanks to all of you, our cabin looks fabulous and we're ready for the Blue and Gold!

The Pack salutes the Tigers who helped bus tables on March 26 during the Loder Family Benefit Dinner. Thomas, JJ and Ben---you did a great job!

The top seller for the Tigers during the Joe Corbi's Pizza Fundraiser was Brian. He sold 17 kits! Way to go!

Pack #37 held it's Pinewood Derby on Tuesday, February 15th in the Tinicum School Cafeteria. JJ took home the first place trophy!!!
