DDG Product Review

DDG Shooter:

 **Adam South Wales, UK says:

"Probably the best frame available for the money. Very strong, I've landed badly off 6 foot drops and there's not a mark on it. Feels nice over jumps or trials."

**Daniel Clark from London says:

"Very light, good for trails/downhill/trials/dual. very strong and nice slanted tube for maximum "chuckability" when jumping!"
"If like me you like many different styles of riding you will love this frame. it can be used for almost any style of riding due to its weight and strength. I would definitely recommend this frame to anyone who is interested in trials and dh."

**Ian Moulssdale  from Wolverhampton says:

"Strong thick tubing loads of strength. Choice of loads of colors. Will take any abuse. Sound for DH, Dual, Trails.
Looks exactly the same as the Identiti Dr. Jeckell but only half the price"
"Excellent frame for the price. a fantastic all rounder."

**James Hall from Ambleside, Cumbria, England says:

"The DDG Shooter is bloody excellent, it is the best trials frame i have ever ridden. Light weight while still being fairly cheep, Well done DDG."
"The DDG shooter is the best buy out there for the new commer to the amazing sport of trials. I would recommend this bike to everyone."

**Tommy Cruise from Singapore says:

"It`s absolutely the best value for money dual slalom/trials frame u can get on the market. It makes Azonic DS-1 framesets feel and look like poo. It comes with a 3 yr warranty too. Lotsa nice colours to spice up ur life."

GFBarbour@aol.com says:

"the frame is very strong with many gussets and the geomatry is superb. if your not a big money spender this is the frame for you and if you love hardtails this is the best around in my opinion for the price that it is. you can put any forks on it becasue the gusset at the front makes it strong but i wouldnt put anything bigger than 6 inches at the front. its only 14 inches so its not ideal for big people because im 6 ft and i wish i was quite smaller at times. if your a jumper and you do mental things of huge jumps its also good because at my local jump spot we have a 15 foot jump wide and 6 foot high and i do it at least 30 times a day when i go down and ive been doing that for 1 year and the frame hasnt snapped yet. you can also control it very well in the air and pull stuff quite easily. the best trick ive done is a one footed kan kan. thats because the frames so small and you can get your leg over easily( that sounds dodgy) anyway i recomend it to anyone "

DDG Hitman

**Mika Vääräniemi from Finland says:

"Unbelievable value! If this frame had a Big Brand sticker on it, it would cost more - a lot more. I know there are better frames available but those are quite expensive."

"Rear end smoothens everything I ride over; rocks, roots and landings from jumps. It is really sensitive without bobbing or any other extra movement. It is laterally rigid and frame feels sturdy. Because upper tube isn't straight but bent it is really easy to lean on both sides without your legs hitting the frame. Bike is stable in every situation. It climbs well in every climb - even in steep rooty climbs. Downhills are fun since bike is steady - just choose where you want to go and steer into that direction. Frame is made for riding fast; a fast trail with a bit of small rocks and roots, large rock-areas with small jumps; yes! That's fun and that's what it's made for."

DDG Slammer II

Mark from London says:

"To Whom it may concern; I recently bought a new DDG Slammer 2 downhill frame and built it up with a pair of Marzzochi Jr T's, Mavic 521's on Shimano XT hubs, XTR rear mech, Race Face bars ..etc. The frame is amazing. I've owned and ridden several DH bikes with frames costing between 2 -3 times what I paid for the Slammer 2, yet this just hasn't ceased to amaze me. To put it bluntly, I'm faster on this bike, than I've been on anything else that I've owned. The geometry is dead on, handling is superb, there is NO flex, and the bike is 100% predictable. Simply, it does nothing wrong. Yes, there are slightly lighter DH frames out there, but this one is certainly reasonable at roughly 4.5Kg. I'd like to see a slightly more adjustable shock, but with that being said, the shock the frame comes with gives very good account of itself over some very serious terrain, and with my weight being about 16 stone (220 lbs) I'm no featherweight. Anyway, thanks for a great frame.. I can tell you right now, my next bike will be the Slammer3, whenever you get around to designing it "
