Team News

Welcome to the News Page. Here is some more on our trip and plans for the future seasons to come. Sandy won a trip to the "CRAZY MOUNTAIN RANCH" this fall. Somehow or another she got signed up threw Marlboro and she was lucky enough to win. We all thought it was a joke at first and then the freebies started rolling in. The trip was all expese paid, airfare, lodging, food, drinks, even the smokes were free. Marlboro even sent us luggage to use and keep for the trip. We spent 4 days and 3 nights at the Ranch. Day 1 wasn't much, more free stuff from Marlboro. When we got in our room the bed was covered with goodies. We each got boots, jackets, digital cameras, back packs, and a ton of other stuff. Day 2 we went on a 75 mile snowmobile ride in the morning and dog sledding in the afternoon. Day 3 we went to YellowStone National Park. I will be posting a ton of pics from the trip shortly. Keep an eye out for them, there pretty wild.

Well we just finished out the 2005 Season. Unfortunatly it was with a horrific crash at The Rock in Cumberland Md. The Rock wasn't as good to the team this year as it has been in the past. We took the car there for our first race. Which was in Oct. Everything was going pretty good, I was up to 9th. from the 14th. starting pos. Due to a very loose setup in the heat race. Then it happened the leaders got tangled up on the back strech, sending Ricky Cragan into a wide flip, drove past him and got turned from behind, then got hit head on by the young kid that was running 15th. His reason for hitting me was he had no brakes (apparently when they built the car they left that part out) & he didn't see me anyway.

Our 2nd. race for us took us to the Apple Fest 100 at Tri-City Speedway. I had never even seen this place until we pulled in the pits. It has to be the nicest dirt track in Western Pa. This race was a challenge for me from the time we unloaded. Tri-City's Street Stocks are 8in. wheels & E-Mod tires. We adjusted on the car all day. I qualified 14th. out of 57 cars in time trials. Missed the setup for the heat. I finished 8th. in the second heat which put me in the second B-Main, finished 8th. in that also. Which ment I was one of the lucky guys that got to start the B-Feature, which payed half of the A-Feature Purse. I started 22nd. by lap 8 I was up 5th, & thats where I finshed. The B-Feature was ran from the drop of Green Flag to the drop Of the Checkered, 25 laps of true allout balls to the wall Street Stock Racing. The A-Feature only saw 4 cautions fall on it in the entire 100 laps. The first not coming out till lap 47. There were no 2 car incidents in the race. Three yellows for mechanical problems & one for a single car spin in turn 4. 25 cars started the A-Feature, 20 finished. 24 cars started the B-Feature 24 finished.

Well if you are wondering why you didn't see us at the races until late season. It was for a couple of reasons. The first one being the biggest of them all (kinda small actually). My wife & I had our first baby. Tyler Jordan was born January 14th 2005. He was 4lb.11ozs. & 18" long. He was born 5 weeks early. He is healthy & growing like a wild flower. The second reason you didn't see us till late is that Sandy & I bought our first home also. 2005 has been a pretty busy year for us with alot of big changes, and we are looking forward to the 2006 season. All though I will not be running a full schedule. I will be at the track to help a couple of friends.

Thanks for visiting the site and stop back often. More news & pics coming soon. See ya at the Races. And to all the Racers. "Good Luck" and keep it clean and besafe. Remember "To Finish First You Must First Finish"
